About Keven Oyler
PGA TEACHING PROFESSIONAL

Keven was born and raised in Tremonton, Utah and still live there. Married to his wife Jill and have 4 grown children. Started in the golf business in 1996 as the Head Golf Professional/Superintendent at Skyway Golf Course in Tremonton, Utah. While there he was the coach of the high school boys golf team. In 2008 moved to Bandon, Oregon to work as the 1st Assistant at Bandon Crossings Golf Course. With the help of the head professional (Jim Wakeman) they introduced the Snag Golf program into the local elementary school as well as the local Boys and Girls Club. As the head girls golf team coach, they were able to participate in the state girls tournament for the first time in school history. After spending 3 years at Bandon Crossings, Keven took a position as 1st Assistant at Clear Lake CC in Buhl, Idaho. While there we started the PGA Junior League and had great success with that. Keven was promoted to the Head Golf Professional/GM position and there began a juniors summer program as well as conducted many adult lesson programs.

Keven worked at Birch Creek Golf Course in Smithfield, Utah from 2018-2020. As the 1st Assistant, he started a Monday Night Ladies Golf program where he would take the first 30 minutes to do personalized instruction and then the ladies would team up and play a 5 hole scramble. This program was primarily for beginners but all levels were welcome to participate. During the month of May, Keven would go to the 3 elementary schools and teach golf to their PE classes. This would take about a week at each school and he would work with anywhere between 150 and 200 kids each day. He also ran Birch Creek’s summer junior camp program. This program runs for 3 days a week beginning the first week of June and would go through the second week of July. Keven had the opportunity to work with approximately 150 kids at this time.

He is now working here at Schneiter’s Riverside and said “I am looking forward to helping and learning from Ernie and Brett and the rest of the Schneiter family.”   Welcome Keven we are excited to have you as part of our team/family.
